Extreme Explorers:  Spring Bushwack

Back by popular demand!  Prescott Farm has many cool landmarks:  the hollow tree, the Octopine, and the old car, among others, but what else lies beyond the trails? Join us for another off-trail adventure to discover new special places.

Spring on the Farm

Hooray!  Spring has sprung yet again at Prescott Farm.  What would spring on the farm have been like 100 years ago?  We’ll be joined by a very special, wooly guest who will be getting her spring haircut!

Magnificent Migrators Quest

We all know birds are coming back from their southern winter homes, but what other animals are migrating this time of year?  You might be surprised!  We’ll go on a new quest to find out all about migration and the animals have this strategy.

The Hunter & the Hunted

One fascinating part of any food web is the complex relationship between predators and prey.  What adaptations do animals have to being predators or prey?  Among other things, we’ll play one of our favorite games, “Hungry Forest” to  experience what it’s like!

Pond Party

It’s finally spring and the ice has melted on Prescott Farm’s pond!  Put on your rubber boots and join us for our first ponding expedition of the year.  Hopefully we’ll see a bunch of pond residents:  newts, frogs and aquatic insects, out and about after a long winter.

All documents can be faxed (603.366.5720) or emailed (info@prescottconservancy.org) to us. We can also take registrations of the phone!
