Birthday Parties

Celebrate your child’s birthday at Prescott Farm and have a truly unique party.  Your child can pick from themes for an hour-long, naturalist led program.  After the program you have exclusive use of the Samuel Pardoe Program Room for an hour of party time.  We provide the party settings; you bring the food and drink.  Some party themes are as follows – choose from these or work with us to build your own!

Survivor
Use natural objects to build your own shelter. Find the answer to all your questions about outdoor survival and play some games.

Farm Festivities
If farm living is the life for you, then so is this party.  We’ll get down and dirty playing games and making a creation using items that you would have found on our farm years ago.

Lost at the Farm!
This party takes you on a journey searching for clues to solve a farm mystery.  In order to solve the quest you will use your map, take compass bearings and paces.

Turtle Merriment
Test your mind with turtle trivia and touch real turtle artifacts!  Then play some games to learn just what it is like to be a turtle.  And of course, you’ll get to meet our own Buckbeak, the box turtle.

Winter Fun on Snowshoes
Don’t let winter snow keep the kids inside.  Borrow our snowshoes and take a walk through the woodlands.  We’ll get snowy and wet and paly snow games.  Inside we’ll create a snow craft.

Forest Floor Foray
Who is hiding under logs?  It could be a salamander, spider or insect.  We’ll search the forest looking for these critters, play games, and dress up like one of our friends to learn about some of their special adaptations.

Please keep in mind the following when planning a birthday party at Prescott Farm

• Parties slots are Saturdays from 10:00-12:00 or 1:00-3:00 or on a weekday after school
• Parties can be held in either the Samuel Pardoe Program Room or the Historic Hay Barn
• Cost is $10 per person.
• If you wish to serve food and cake, you’re welcome to bring your own or have it delivered.  You will have full use of our kitchen during the party.
• The Naturalist will be available for one hour during your party to carry out the themed portion of the event.
• A chaperone is required for every four children
• Additional adults must supervise younger siblings
